eAudiology: Using Malpractice Claim Data to Identify Risks in Audiology Practice

Course: #40110Level: Introductory 1 Hour 50 Reviews
Recorded Webinar

This session addresses audiologists’ most common professional liability concerns, including emerging risks and ways that audiologists can protect themselves from liability exposures. Utilizing HPSO/CNA’s database of audiology closed professional liability claims, we can identify liability patterns and trends, we can highlight adverse events that resulted in financial loss or expenses, and we focus on the types of situations most likely to have serious adverse consequences for patients and create liability exposures for audiologists. Using this information, audiologists can examine their own current practices in relation to the claims and losses experienced by their peers.
