Dr. Nielsen is the Audiology University Advisor at Fuel Medical Group. He began his career as a fundamental scientist, studying the intricate mechanics of the inner ear and co-authoring the landmark textbook Fundamentals of Hearing: An Introduction with William A. Yost. He has held leadership roles at Henry Ford Hospital, the House Ear Institute, and many prestigious academic institutions, including the Washington University in St. Louis and Northwestern University. Don is a past president of the Association for Research in Otolaryngology.
