I really appreciate the focus on teenagers experiencing tinnitus. I feel as if in school, a majority of coursework involving tinnitus was focused on adults and although this is valuable information, there are many other factors involved with teenagers (i.e., puberty, cognition, etc.). Now in my practice as a pediatric audiologist, I have had teenage patients who have reported experiencing tinnitus. I have not been quite sure what the best resources were and now I have more tools to share.

While this is out of my scope of practise (Hearing Aid Specialist) this gives a lot more information and clarity to tinnitus. I have seen people with tinnitus but no hearing loss, and had no idea there could be relief for them outside of just adding environmental masking noise to their daily life.
