This course is devoted to discussion of Progressive Tinnitus Management (PTM), an evidence based method of tinnitus management designed to teach tinnitus patients to manage reactions to tinnitus, and delivery of services via clinical videotelehealth (CVT). Course information covers the necessary planning and supplies, documentation of care, ICD and CPT coding and discussion of outcomes measures for PTM delivered via CVT.

Catherine (Katie) Edmonds is an audiologist employed in the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System in Bay Pines, Florida since 2008. She received her Master of Science degree from the University of South Florida in 1987 and Doctor of Audiology degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2002. Dr. Edmonds is the tinnitus subject matter expert for the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, provides routine clinical services in addition to being a preceptor for doctoral students and audiology technicians. She served as a Member, Tinnitus Section, Joint Audiology Committee on Clinical Practice in 2015, the VA Tele Audiology Workgroup, Clinical Specialist Supplement, in 2016/17, the American Academy of Audiology ABA Certificate Holder for Tinnitus Management Training Program (in progress) and completed the VISN 8 Competency Development for Leaders in June 2013.
