I have supervised several students over the years I have been an audiologist. This course was a good reminder of exactly what my duties are as a supervisor, and I also learned a few things that I will now incorporate into my supervision process.

I enjoyed reading this course. Working with both audiologists and speech pathologists I appreciate the recommendations such as asking "wh" questions to help in self-awareness. I enjoy promoting creativity and any and all staff at our facility must have flexibility as not only our client base is varied, but the hours and the schedules are ever changing. Well done!

This is a much needed course realizing that there are so few audiologists to meet the demands of patient care for hearing health. And we as experienced audiologists need to do our part and recognize the need to foster the new audiologists coming in its that simple.

This was fairly commonsense. I appreciated the methods on how to approach supervision: written communicatin with logistics. examples on how to provide feedback. How to steer the conversation when students are not receiving feedback well. What if the supervisor and student disagrees. The what if questions are helpful to navigate some of the turns and curves of learning.
