CAMARILLO, CA – October 23, 2014 – Dr. Barry Freeman, VP of Business Development at ZPower, will co-present at the ADA 2014 Convention on the topic of “Product Dependence: Is it Co-Opting Our Efforts to Become Limited Licensed Providers?” The convention takes place November 6-8 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Freeman’s presentation, which occurs on November 6 from Noon to 3:15 p.m., will be co-presented with Amyn Amlani, Ph.D., Brian Taylor, Au.D., and Ian Windmill, Ph.D. The purpose of this session will be to discuss the current state of audiology practice and present recommendations and models adopted from other limited licensed professions and audiology clinical practices that have successfully differentiated their practices. The workshop will discuss the need to refocus audiology on the diagnosis, management, and treatment of patients rather than a single focus and dependence on product sales.
