Share:
Minneapolis, MN (April 22, 2008) - ReSound announces the release of two notable additions to its growing product portfolio. New: ReSound Ziga™ offers outstanding technology features in a value-priced product family. Improved: ReSound Azure™, the popular high-end product, has been updated to include a slimmer BTE housing and enhanced features.

ReSound Ziga™

ReSound is firmly committed to the idea that low cost does not mean low sound quality. ReSound Ziga is a new product family in the value-priced segment. ReSound Ziga will change the way patients feel about hearing instruments. It will dispel their perceptions of how an instrument looks and feels, and change the idea that the fitting process must be a hassle. ReSound Ziga will also erase the perception that a hearing instrument must be expensive in order to deliver real benefits.

The Sound by ReSound™ technology package included in ReSound Ziga features the same premium technologies that give our high-end instruments their natural sound quality. Ziga also is among the first hearing instruments to offer the option of Adaptive Directionality in this segment, offering additional flexibility to even the budget conscious patient.

Available in ITE and BTE form factors, ReSound Ziga also features the exclusive new Silhouette BTE design. Silhouette's extra-slim contouring and straight-line design offer patients a discreet housing and optimal fit on the ear.

ReSound Azure™ Gets Even Better

With the release of the new Silhouette BTE housing ReSound Azure advances the cosmetic appeal of the popular high-end instrument as well as incorporating practical enhancements to further ease fitting and patient comfort. The Silhouette housing incorporates directional microphones, a volume control and a pushbutton for multiple memories in a sleek mini BTE design.

Based on award-winning research from Walter Reed Medical Center, ReSound Azure combines breakthrough technologies such as Natural Directionality and our Environmental Optimizer to make it the most sophisticated hearing instrument available.
