SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 18, 2002--
Deal Makes WyndTell Service Available To Nation's Largest Network of Hearing Healthcare Providers
Wynd Communications Corporation, a GoAmerica, Inc. company (NASDAQ: GOAM), the nation's leading wireless communications service provider for people with hearing loss, and the American Hearing Aid Associates (AHAA), the nation's largest network of hearing healthcare providers, today announced a distribution agreement that enables AHAA associates to offer the award-winning WyndTell Service.
Through the agreement, Wynd and AHAA will jointly market WyndTell Service and the Wynd Affiliate Network program to AHAA's network of nearly 1,400 privately owned and operated audiology and hearing aid dispenser practices.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for both companies," said Doug Timewell, vice president, sales and marketing for Wynd. "We believe that AHAA is a great fit for Wynd, and that over time, WyndTell Service will become a well accepted complement to hearing instruments."
In March, AHAA will begin an outreach program to its associates to educate them about the WyndTell service, as well as to encourage enrollment in the Wynd Affiliate Network.
"Our goal has always been to provide AHAA associates with products and business tools designed to differentiate their practices and add to their bottom line," said Tina Soika, chief operating officer for AHAA. "We believe WyndTell Service is a great match for this goal. WyndTell offers associates a unique opportunity to differentiate their practices, generate new clients, and to recommend a technology that positively impacts their clients' quality of life."
