
Hear the World is an integrated campaign, which links elements such as sponsoring, media relations, events, grassroots activities and corporate publishing. Music serves as a universal, all encompassing language, in order to positively transport the topic of hearing. "A coherent concept against stigmatism due to hearing instruments, with an innovative approach and credible testimonials", was the jury's assessment. "With Hear the World, we are addressing all age groups with the topic of hearing - as hearing affects everyone", says Vanessa Erhard Blattmann, responsible for Hear the World at Phonak. "Unfortunately, hearing loss is often only taken seriously when damage has already been done. Hear the World helps to create and promote awareness for the topic of hearing."
Hear the World receives prominent support due to official ambassadors such as Franka Potente, the German face of the initiative, as well as other international stars such as Plácido Domingo or Annie Lennox. They have all been photographed by the official Hear the World photographer Bryan Adams in the Hear the World pose.
