Somerset, NJ August 1 - Oticon, Inc. today announced the winners of the company's $100,000 Office Makeover Contest. Grand prize winner David Illich, AuD, FAAA of Professional Hearing Associates in Oceanside, California and runner-up Sherwin Weisman BC-HIS of North Suburban Hearing Service in Niles, Illinois submitted essays that convinced contest judges that they indeed deserved a practice makeover that would enable them to deliver an optimal patient experience. Total combined value for the two customized makeovers is approximately $100,000.
"We know the physical environment in which hearing care is delivered can have an enormous impact upon a practice's ability to attract the new users and convert them into satisfied hearing instrument wearers," stated Peer Lauritsen, president of Oticon, Inc. "We look forward to showing how a well-designed, attractive environment can be a place where new and existing patients will want to seek care."
Each of the winning practices will receive an exceptional package of assistance in creating an "office of the future." Planning begins this month with target completion dates and unveiling in the fall.
