Kitchener, Ontario - Unitron Hearing US, a manufacturer of easy-to-use digital hearing solutions, announced today the availability of the WiFi Mic ITE-to-ITE system. Since its introduction, WiFi Mic has experienced substantial success and generated a lot of interest for hearing professionals wishing to offer a more discreet, streamlined solution to their clients with asymmetrical hearing losses.
Now available in bilateral ITEs, WiFi Mic offers more choices and flexibility plus the added benefits and features of advanced digital hearing instruments. Available as either a Digital Wireless CROS or Digital Wireless BiCROS, the ITE-to-ITE system solves the challenges of asymmetrical hearing loss by transmitting sounds originating on the side of the unaidable ear to the other hearing ear.
WiFi Mic's remote microphones mean no cumbersome wires and a more discreet, flexible hearing solution. Clients with a bilateral hearing loss have the ability to engage BiCROS, and take advantage of the added benefits of digital hearing aids such as noise reduction and feedback management.
"Unitron Hearing's comprehensive family of digital products is designed to meet the listening needs of more people with varying types of hearing loss," commented Brian Kinnerk, President, Unitron Hearing US. "WiFi Mic ITE-to-ITE is an example of our growing offering of innovative, discreet solutions with advanced features that can be customized to suit clients' specific listening needs."
Unifit™ for WiFi Mic offers support resources ensuring an accurate, customized fit. Animated fitting-friendly resources address common concerns and questions and Unifit's intuitive interface makes selection and customization easier.
WiFi Mic ITE-to-ITE is available with Conversa.NT™ and Unison™ 6, 3 and Essential product families. More information on WiFi Mic is available on the Unitron Hearing US web site.
