Madison, WI - August 8, 2005 - VIASYS NeuroCare is pleased to announce a new version of software is now available for the GSI Audera. This new software, GSI Audera version 2.1, makes it easier for clinicians to be HIPAA compliant. By using the Windows security features, only selected users on the computer are allowed to access GSI Audera information. The HIPAA compliance also includes event logging. Anytime a user enters/exits the application, accesses patient data, or makes changes to the database, adds, deletes or moves information, the events are logged. In addition to the added security features, several additional controls are now available.
This upgrade is voluntary and does not require new licensing. Contact your local GSI distributor for more information.
