February 16, 2011. Yesterday, the Veterans Administration announced $100 million in grants to the private sector for innovative technology proposals. The grants, which will be awarded through the VA's second annual Industry Innovation Competition, identify five new priority areas and the first one is audiology. The VA is looking for technological solutions to assist veterans who must travel long distances for their hearing care.
