The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Arizona is pleased to showcase its first class of students in the Doctor of Audiology program. In the picture below, the five students in the center-front row are entering their 3rd year of study, after having completed a Master of Science degree in the department in May, 2004; the remaining 6 students are in the current Master of Science program and will continue with the Au.D in fall, 2005. We are proud to continue our tradition of excellence as a top-ranked program in audiology with the advent of the Au.D and with this special group of students. Other doctoral programs in audiology include the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and dual Au.D.- Ph.D. degrees. The department is now accepting applications for students wishing to enter the 1st-year Au.D. program in fall, 2005. Deadlines for receipt of applications are December 1st for International applicants and February 1st for US Citizens.
