December 5, 2012 – Kitchener, Canada – Unitron announced today its UK organization has been recognized with ISHAA’s (Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists) ‘Best Customer Service Award’ presented at the ISHAA’s inaugural awards ceremony, held November 9th in Dublin. Unitron was selected by ISHAA voting members representing private and public Irish hearing healthcare markets. Unitron also took home the ISHAA’s award for Best Mid-Level Hearing Instrument for Quantum and Moxi 12.
“We’re delighted to acknowledge Unitron’s commitment to customer service through this award,” says Leona Kane, ISHAA Secretary. “Across our association, members were incredibly positive about Unitron’s whole customer experience. Whether they were dealing with the company’s customer service, tech support or marketing teams, Unitron staff were consistently attentive, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile.”
ISHAA is the body recognised by the Department of Social Protection to represent qualified Hearing Aid Audiologists in the State regarding the Treatment Benefit Scheme. The Society also has the object of establishing and maintaining high standards of practice among Hearing Aid Audiologists by the institution and administration of rules and such regulations for its members as may be deemed appropriate. It is involved in accreditation and education of Hearing Aid Audiologists in Private Practice in the Republic of Ireland. The Society is in partnership with the National University of Ireland in the Hearing Aid Audiology Diploma in University College Dublin. The Society is also involved in continuing education for its Members.
