Kitchener, Ontario - May 3, 2004 - Unitron Hearing will assist post-graduate Audiology students at four universities for the second year in a row. Unitron Hearing will provide sponsorship of their membership to the Dome information service, an online research resource for Speech-Language Pathologists, Audiologists and Researchers in the field of Communication Disorders.
Dome offers students access to multiple resources from one location. They can search journal articles, web sites, books, dissertations, grants and authors on a wide variety of research topics. Dome also allows students to communicate with leading researchers around the world.
Post-graduate Audiology students from four major universities including the University of Western Ontario, Vanderbilt University, the University at Buffalo and the University of Iowa will be part of the sponsorship.
"Unitron Hearing chose to sponsor these universities because they offer strong Audiology programs with in-house hearing clinics to assist their research efforts. Technological advances in the hearing industry are constantly changing and these students are integral to this evolving industry with their research initiatives," said Bruce Brown, Vice-President of Marketing.
