August 17, 2004 - Kitchener, ONTARIO - Unitron Hearing, a manufacturer of easy-to-use digital hearing solutions, welcomes Nicolai Krarup as the new General Manager of Unitron Hearing Canada. Krarup will be responsible for Unitron Hearing's brand, presence and sales activities for the Canadian market. Krarup brings his management experience in the hearing healthcare industry and strong skills in product development, marketing, and sales management to Unitron Hearing Canada. Prior to joining Unitron Hearing, Krarup was President of Bukkehave Group, an automotive solutions company. From 1997-2002, he was Group Commercial Director of Bernafon AG where he had extensive experience in managing new product introductions, sales efforts, and customer support.
Located in Cambridge, Ontario, Unitron Hearing Canada is a first-class production facility with leading edge hearing aid manufacturing processes. Employees in all functions including production, Customer Service, Audiology support, Sales, Marketing, and administrative functions support the office. In his new role, Krarup will introduce new digital hearing instruments to the Canadian market as well as coordinate the ongoing sales and support efforts of Unitron Hearing's comprehensive digital product families.
