November 1, 2012 - Kitchener, Canada – Unitron, a global provider of world-class hearing instruments, announced today the opening of its newest company office in Staefa, Switzerland. The office, led by Unitron Brand Manager Patrick Tuor, will be comprised of sales, audiological technical support, training services and customer support, and will manage the distribution of Unitron products and services to the Swiss market.
Unitron Switzerland will offer the Moxi™ and Quantum™ product lines based on the Era™ sound processing platform, as well as the recently announced Flex:trial™, the industry’s first risk-free business solution for hearing instrument trial and fit.

Patrick Tuor was most recently responsible for Sonova’s Sona brand in Switzerland. Sona’s technologies, service and distribution were transferred to Unitron in October 2011, and form the basis for Unitron’s new Flex solution. Mr. Tuor has extensive experience in business development honed during a sales and marketing career spent in the healthcare marketplace with roles at Synthes, Smith &Nephew, and a German retailer. Patrick Tuor holds a Masters of Business and Administration and is working towards a Masters degree in Healthcare.
