New leader an Industry veteran who shares Unitron’s core relationship values.
April 8, 2015 – Kitchener, Canada – Unitron, a global innovator of technologically advanced hearing solutions, today announced the appointment of Mike Dittmann as the Company’s new President of Unitron US. In its search to recruit the ideal candidate, Unitron focused on finding a leader with great depth of industry expertise, and one who supports the Company’s core values of relationship building as a key means to in-clinic success.
Dittmann has spent the past 17 years in the hearing instrument industry in leadership positions within Widex’s global head office in Denmark. From 2008 until very recently he was Vice President Global Sales, with commercial responsibility for all group companies and distributors worldwide. From 2012 to 2013 he headed up Widex USA Inc., as President and CEO, where he was instrumental in orchestrating a change management program for the US business.

Prior to joining the hearing instrument industry, Dittmann worked for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Germany and for Bell & Howell in London, UK. He also holds an MBA from London Business School.

Dittmann will be based in Unitron’s US headquarters in Minneapolis. His appointment is effective May 1, 2015.
