Jan Metzdorff appointed President of Unitron
Effectively immediately, Jan Metzdorff has been appointed President. Jan Metzdorff brings to the position 14 years of executive leadership within the hearing healthcare industry, including seven years leadership within the Sonova Group, managing Phonak and Unitron brands. He spearheaded the build up of key markets, including Japan as well as United Kingdom, and prior to his appointment as President, Unitron, was Vice President of International Sales for Unitron, overseeing all international sales territories outside of North America.
Sona brand to enhance Unitron portfolio
Also announced is the transfer of Sonova's Sona technologies, service, and distribution to Unitron, further strengthening Unitron's portfolio and service-oriented strategy, while providing Sona with access to Unitron's worldwide distribution power. Sona offers the market's only upgradeable hearing instruments, and represents a unique product and service concept for people with mild to moderate hearing loss, with models available to end customers in three form factors and three price-performance levels that can be immediately configured to the wearer's preferences.
