Share:

The Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, has been given final approval for two new doctoral programs: a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) and a Ph.D. with emphasis in pediatrics/early childhood. The Au.D. will replace the M.S. degree in audiology. The Ph.D. will be a traditional research/academic degree. Both doctoral programs will begin Fall, 2002, and will draw on the collective resources of the Speech and Hearing Sciences program along with UNC Hospitals, the UNC Center for Development and Learning, the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Center, and several outstanding clinical programs in the Raleigh-Durham area. More information is available at www.med.unc.edu/ahs/sphs/ or contact Jackson Roush, Ph.D. via email jroush@med.unc.edu.
