Eden Prairie, Minn. -Starkey Laboratories, Inc., one of the world's leading hearing technology companies, is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2007 William F. Austin Scholarship, which is awarded annually to five outstanding audiology graduate students. Each of these exemplary students was chosen from among 65 national applicants to receive academic scholarships of up to $10,000 as part of Starkey University's educational outreach program.
Starkey Laboratories is dedicated to professional advancement through education and recognizes graduate students pursuing clinical, teaching, and research careers in audiology. This year's s William F. Austin Scholarship recipients are Jacquelyn Baudhuin, graduate student at Washington University in St. Louis; Marguerite Dartt, graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin; Jovana Diggs, graduate student at Arizona State University; Gretchen Magee, graduate student at the University of Oklahoma; and Jenny Miller, graduate student at the University of South Dakota.
