Philadelphia, Pa. -- Symphonix Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:SMPX) will host a series of educational seminars, present recent research findings, and showcase its Vibrant Soundbridge technology at the 14th Annual American Academy of Audiology (AAA) Convention opening today in Philadelphia, Pa. Audiologists can visit Symphonix' booth (#1159) to obtain new information regarding potential reimbursement options for patients interested in the Vibrant Soundbridge.
"AAA is the largest audiologist convention of the year and an exciting opportunity for us to engage with this influential group," said Kirk Davis, president and chief executive officer of Symphonix. Audiologists can hear from Deborah Arthur, audiologist and vice president of regulatory and clinical affairs for Symphonix, and Robert Baker, audiologist and marketing manager for Symphonix at an educational seminar on "Advancements in Rehabilitation of Sensorineural Hearing Loss" on Saturday, April 20. In addition, Arthur and a number of Vibrant Soundbridge patients, such as patient Allen Hill, will be featured in a panel discussion titled "Implantable Hearing Aids."
