San Francisco, CA May 17, 2018: Sycle, the number one practice management software in audiology, announced two key hires to their senior team. Paige Hurwitz, a veteran in the EMR space, has joined Sycle as Director of Strategic Partnerships and Nick Weber, previously of Amplifon Americas, has joined as Director of Sales.

Before joining Sycle, Paige Hurwitz was with Clover Health, a data focused medicare advantage health plan. While there, Hurwitz developed provider quality improvement programs and managed EMR integration strategy to Clover’s data driven approach to care management. At Sycle, Hurwitz will play an integral role helping Sycle’s thousands of customers’ support treatment options across The Continuum of Care, a new initiative formed in partnership with Cochlear. The Continuum of Care extends hearing care beyond hearing aids for patients needing implants while keeping them with their audiologist as their primary hearing care provider. The program’s goal is to ensure patients who receive an implant continue to see their trusted audiologist following the surgery.

“I’m excited to bring my previous experience to Sycle. There are so many synergies and also opportunities in this role. Sycle’s mission to facilitate the delivery of better hearing to world aligns perfectly with The Continuum of Care initiative. It’s a win-win for audiologists and patients alike,” commented Hurwitz.

At Amplifon Americas, Nick Weber served as Director of Franchise Operations for the Miracle Ear team.  Prior to Miracle Ear, Weber held various positions with Elite Hearing Network spanning both inside and outside sales as well as leadership roles over the course of his 13 year career there. Nick will lead Sycle’s core sales team to drive further growth through the adoption of Sycle PRO, the software company’s new platform.

“I worked in partnership with Sycle throughout most of my time at Amplifon Americas. I have always been impressed with the team, the products Sycle develops, and the overall vision the company has for our industry. I’m thrilled to be joining the Sycle family, especially at such an exciting time with the launch of PRO,” Weber stated.

Sycle PRO launched at AAA 2018 following a one-year beta program in the US and Canada. The latest platform includes dozens of new features such as integrated physician reporting, text & email appointment reminders, resource calendaring, smoother workflows and more. Sycle is committed to reinvesting in the continued evolution of the software they develop.
