The AFA uses these annual campaign donations to host a number of student and professional support activities, as well as Au.D. promotion and professional development. These activities specifically include student mentoring programs, white coat ceremonies, student otoscope programs, Au.D. scholarships, Au.D. position papers, state and national educational presentations as well as the AFA website and online Au.D. Directory.
These programs also mesh perfectly with the AFA's new mission to improve the profession by promoting independent and autonomous practice for audiologists. Because we are not a membership organization, we depend entirely upon donations from Au.D.s like you to help us march toward our shared future.
