The Audiology Foundation of America (AFA) is accepting applications for student grants to attend the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) convention as part of the AFA's Student Mentoring Program. The convention will be held this year in Orlando, FL, from Oct. 10-13, 2007.
The grants are available to 3rd or 4th year students (as of Fall 2007) in four-year Au.D. programs. To be eligible, a Student Mentoring Grant application form and accompanying materials must be submitted to the AFA by August 3, 2007. Grant winners will participate in onsite mentoring program activities and receive paid convention registration and sleeping rooms at The Peabody Hotel in Orlando. Most meals will also be provided.
