The SAA Board of Directors is the link between the national SAA and local SAA chapters. Board members represent the breadth and depth of SAA initiatives and interests through serving as committee chairs for communications, chapter and member relations, development, public outreach, and AudiologyNOW! programming.
The SAA Board of Directors continually makes significant contributions to the formation and development of the SAA since its inception on January 16, 2009. The president, president-elect, and eight members at large will serve a one-year term, from July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2018.

The Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) is the national student division of the American Academy of Audiology (the Academy) that serves as a collective voice for students and advances the rights, interests, and welfare of students pursuing careers in audiology. The SAA introduces students to lifelong involvement in activities that promote and advance the profession of audiology and that provide services, information, education, representation and advocacy for the profession and for consumers of audiology services.
The SAA has over 2,000 members, consisting of students enrolled in AuD, PhD, or other accredited audiology doctoral programs for a first professional degree in audiology, as well as students in related undergraduate degree programs.
