Three Presentations and Six Posters Featured
Minneapolis, Aug. 16, 2010 - Starkey Laboratories, Inc., one of the world's leading hearing technology companies, is proud to announce that company researchers presented a total of nine lectures and posters at the International Hearing Aid Research Conference 2010 (IHCON) held last week in Lake Tahoe, Calif. The conference, held every two years, draws the highest caliber hearing research presentations from around the world from institutions including Cambridge University, Vanderbilt University and National Acoustic Laboratories in Sydney, Australia.

Starkey was well represented, sharing three presentations and six posters over the course of the five-day event. Topics included sound localization, speech understanding in complex situations, hearing aid directionality, binaural perception, and speech and noise subject matter. Besides Dr. Edwards, presenters included a wide variety of researchers from both the Starkey Hearing Research Center in Berkeley and Starkey's corporate headquarters in Minnesota, including Sridhar Kalluri, Bill Woods, Shilpi Banerjee, Nazanin Nooraei, Karrie Recker, Drew Dundas, Tao Zhang and Martin McKinney.
