A co-founder of the American Institute of Balance, Gans boasts an extensive career as a medical audiologist with wide-ranging experience in vestibular and hearing disorders and treatment both in Massachusetts and Florida."At Starkey, we always seek to hire the best and brightest in the hearing aid industry, and Patricia Gans is certainly both of those," said Jim Guthier, managing director of sales. Gans has served as a clinical supervisor in otolaryngology and private practice settings, as well as the Au.D. programs at the University of South Florida and Nova Southeastern University. She was a member of the inaugural Au.D. graduating class at the University of Florida and received her Master's degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. Gans is a charter member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and the Florida Academy of Audiology (FLAA), which she has served as president.
