Researchers Share Knowledge at Conferences in Colombia, Scotland and Sweden

Minneapolis, Feb. 16, 2010 - The Starkey Hearing Research Center, a division of Starkey Laboratories, Inc., is proud to announce that its staff has been invited to speak at a number of prestigious conferences around the world this spring. In order of timing:

  • Karrie Recker, Au.D., will present on three different hearing aid-related topics including Acceptable Noise Level, Hearing Aids and Cell Phones, and High-Frequency Real-Ear Measurements at the VII National Convention of Audiology & EXPO 2010 in Bogota, Columbia Feb. 17-20. The event is organized by the Colombian Association of Audiology.

  • Sridhar Kalluri, Ph.D., will present "Binaural function and its benefits for wearers of hearing aids" to the Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals in Edinburgh, Scotland on Feb. 26.

  • Brent Edwards, Ph.D., will present "Binaural Psychoacoustic Considerations for Hearing Aid Processing" as the opening keynote address for the Swedish Association for Technical Audiology in Stockholm, Sweden on March 17.
