Don't miss it! The Starkey Hearing Foundation will be featured on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on Sunday, Oct. 31 for their participation in a project for the Oregon School for the Deaf in Salem, Oregon. The Foundation fit more than 500 hearing aids, with a total value of $1.5 million, on students, family members, faculty and alumni from the school.
While the contractors and designers worked around the clock to construct a special surprise for the school, students and faculty spent a week in the Twin Cities enjoying some of the area's most popular attractions - including a Minnesota Twins game, the Science Museum of Minnesota, Mall of America, the Wabasha Street Caves, a Mississippi dinner cruise, Valley Fair and more.
