Starkey Donates Hearing Aids to Special Olympics Healthy Hearing Program

Minneapolis, July 20, 2010 - Starkey Laboratories, Inc., one of the world's leading hearing technology companies, is proud to announce that it has donated 100 hearing aids to the Special Olympics Healthy Hearing Program for the benefit of Special Olympics athletes with intellectual disabilities.

The Special Olympics North America Regional Games are being held this month in Lincoln, Neb. Starkey's Dr. Elizabeth Galster is assisting the hearing aid team, which is under the direction of Dr. Ruth Bentler from the University of Iowa.
