Eden Prairie, Minnesota (March 27, 2020) – As part of its ongoing efforts to support hearing and healthcare providers during the COVID-19 pandemic, this week, Starkey donated more than 80,000 masks to Hennepin County in Minnesota. The donation is in response to the shortage of personal protective equipment in hospitals across the country.
“We are grateful to the healthcare workers who are on the frontlines of this crisis,” said Starkey President Brandon Sawalich. “The demand for protective equipment, like masks, is growing. As part of the healthcare community, we feel a responsibility to do what we can to keep them as safe as possible during this challenging time. We encourage other businesses and organizations to contribute however they can to this important cause.”
