Starkey Designs New Website Exclusively for Hearing Care Professionals.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Starkey Laboratories announces the addition of a new professional resources portal to its consumer website located at www.starkey.com. The portal is exclusively designed for today's hearing professional and offers a wealth of product, service and advertising and marketing information.

The new portal is comprised of six main areas focusing on consumer advertising material, product information, services, government resources, corporate philosophy and how to become a Starkey partner.

"The site was designed as an additional resource for our customers to learn more about the variety of products and services that Starkey offers," said Eric Peterson, Starkey's Creative Director. "The professional portal will serve as a reference point for hearing care professionals looking for specific product specifications or inquiring about many of the unique services available only from Starkey."

As a special service for Starkey's government customers, the government resources area contains complete contract and non-contract listings and product specifications for the Veteran's Administration, active military, Indian Health Service and military retirees program. Information is categorized by specific contract and hearing instrument type with all product information available in PDF format.

As most hearing professionals well know, the major challenge to operating a successful practice is increasing patient contact and building a strong market. Starkey's consumer literature section helps address this need by listing and displaying the most recent and successful collateral available. The consistent mix of literature ranges from brochures dispelling the myths associated with hearing loss to lead generating direct mail programs and ads, along with a multiplicity of attractive and thought-provoking point-of-sale options.
