Starkey Chief Philanthropy Officer, Tani Austin, Named a 2023 Women in Business Award Honoree

Eden Prairie, Minnesota (March 27, 2023) – Starkey Chief Philanthropy Officer, Tani Austin, has been named a 2023 Women in Business award honoree by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. This award honors industry-leading executives, entrepreneurs, and business owners for their professional successes and contributions to the Twin Cities community.

Well-known for her philanthropic efforts, Tani Austin has traveled across the globe to help people in need. As a result, she was named Female Philanthropist of the Year and honored at the First Ladies Summit at the UN General Assembly. Tani Austin’s commitment to philanthropy goes beyond hearing. By supporting a multitude of both local and global charitable causes, her inspiring vision and selfless dedication have helped change countless lives.

With the 2021 launch of Starkey’s corporate social responsibility program, Starkey Cares, Tani Austin continues her commitment to helping communities in need receive invaluable hearing health resources. Since its inception, Starkey Cares has signed on more than 2000 partner providers, and has provided more than 670 free hearing aids, delivering the gift of better hearing. Additionally, through a partnership with Special Olympics International, Starkey Cares is assisting thousands of athletes with disabilities around the world receive hearing health resources they may not have access to otherwise.
