Starkey Cares Fosters Connections and Enriches Lives Through Better Hearing
Eden Prairie, Minnesota (November 26, 2024) – On November 18, Starkey proudly hosted a Starkey Cares hearing event in the Bronx, NY, offering hearing health services to more than 100 local residents. The initiative highlighted the crucial role of hearing in enhancing overall well-being and quality of life.
“These Starkey Cares hearing events are transformative because they restore an essential connection to the world,” said Starkey President and CEO Brandon Sawalich. “There’s nothing quite like seeing the joy on someone’s face as they hear their surroundings clearly for the first time. It’s a powerful reminder of the profound impact better hearing can have on their life.”
In collaboration with community leaders, including Luis Miranda, Montefiore Einstein Hospital and Urban Health Plan, Starkey provided hearing screenings, distributed state-of-the-art hearing technology, and ensured ongoing support.
Starkey’s long-standing tradition of compassion and outreach continues through Starkey Cares, the initiative dedicated to extending hearing health care to underserved communities locally and globally. At the heart of Starkey’s mission lies a commitment to improving lives by helping people reconnect through better hearing.
