DELTA, CO - Jon Nau, Sonus Network Mountain Region Manager, presented a supply of batteries to the Region 10 Hearing Aid Bank in Delta, Colorado at the September 10 Lions Club meeting. The Delta Lions Club is over 80 years old and has assisted the Region 10 Hearing Aid Bank since the 1980's providing low cost, refurbished, and reconditioned hearing aids to qualified individuals within the six-county West Central Colorado region. Pam Peterson, the Hearing Aid Bank Coordinator, accepted the battery contribution from Nau on behalf of the Bank. Sonus was placed in contact with the Hearing Aid Bank through one of its Network Members, Larry Webster, who is a local hearing healthcare professional, Lions Club member, and coordinator for the Delta Lions Club Hearing Aid Outreach Program.
