Sonus Corp. Retains Ernst & Young as New Auditing Firm

Portland, OR - Sonus Corp. (AMEX: SSN), the largest audiology-based retailer of hearing instruments in North America with 613 company-owned and franchised hearing centers, today announced that it has retained the services of Ernst & Young LLP as the Company's new independent auditors.

Brandon Dawson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, stated, "We felt it was in the best interest of our shareholders to select a big five auditing firm with the credentials of Ernst & Young. The accounting expertise they offer is recognized as among the best in the world. Ernst & Young replaces KPMG LLP as Sonus' independent auditing firm.
