Sonus Announces 2012 Scholarship Recipients, Au.D. Students Receive $20k

Audiology leader supports eight students with annual monetary awards.
 
MINNEAPOLIS, MN (October 1, 2012) – The Scholarship Foundation of Sonus, a division of Amplifon, has selected eight outstanding full-time third and fourth year Doctor of Audiology students to receive scholarships of $2,500.00 USD for a total of $20,000.00 USD awarded.
 
Selected from a group of over 75 applicants, the eight 2012 recipients are: Nicole E. Corbin of Arizona State University; Kayla N. Gaschler of University of South Florida; Courtney C. Luffler of University of Akron; Imola X. MacPhee of San Diego State University; Dana E. Matthyssen of Missouri State University; Kari E. Morgenstein of University of Florida; Michelle T. Neidleman of Montclair State University; and Jessica L. Spratt of Lamar University.
 
“All of our recipients demonstrate great potential in leading the next generation of audiology professionals,” said Sonus Vice President of Franchise Operations Dr. Thomas Tedeschi. “The Sonus Scholarship Foundation is dedicated to excellence in the field of audiology and a major component of our commitment is supporting audiology students at universities across the country.”

The program is administered by Scholarship Management Services, a division of Scholarship America, the nation's largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals.
