Sonovation Introduces new DSP BTE Instrument

Share:
Eden Prairie, MN - Sonovation recently introduced Nano Xp BTE featuring ImpaCt DFC algorithm (see Interview with Wendy Davis, Audiologist & Director of Professional Services, Sonovation Inc.). DFC selectively moves high frequency speech sounds to lower frequency regions where hearing is typically better. This patented process lets clinicians tap into the high frequency speech cues needed to improve speech intelligibility.

The miniature, sleek, European designed Nano Xp has true open platform architecture. Sonovation's innovative software algorithms are implemented on a generic digital signal processor (DSP) making Nano Xp a fully expandable hearing instrument.

Nano Xp features Voice Clarity, 9 channel, 17 band speech emphasis algorithm which optimizes gain and output based on varying speech levels and changing environmental conditions.

Model Nano Xp/D features XpDirect, Sonovation's unique digital dual directional microphone algorithm, capable of reducing noise up to 20dB at spectral regions most harmful to speech intelligibility.

Versatile enough to fit mild through profound losses, Nano Xp provides solutions for listening in noise, improving speech understanding and effectively dealing with cochlear dead regions.
