Montreal, Quebec -- 07/18/07 -- Sonomax Hearing Healthcare Inc. (TSX VENTURE: SHH) (www.sonomax.com) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gora Ganguli to the position of President, Vitasound Audio Inc., a subsidiary of Sonomax, to lead the Company's Consumer Division.
In this role, Mr. Ganguli will be responsible for developing the full potential of Vitasound as the consumer products arm of Sonomax. He will also assist with product development, product engineering, and marketing for all of Sonomax's product initiatives.

About Gora Ganguli
Mr. Ganguli brings over 25 years of experience in micro-electronics and high-tech consumer products.
Most recently, he was Senior VP and General Manager of the Audio & Wireless Division of Gennum Corporation, a Canadian High Technology company, where he led the transition of the business from outmoded analog hearing products to leading edge digital. He also expanded the Division's scope into new markets such as Bluetooth headsets, In-ear Monitors, and tunable capacitors for cellular phones by leveraging hearing technologies at Gennum into new, market-leading products.
During his time at Gennum, he served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Hearing Industry Association (HIA) and the Better Hearing Institute (BHI), and was also the Treasurer/Secretary for both US-based organizations.
Prior to Gennum, Mr. Ganguli began his career at IBM, in the Micro-Electronics Division, where he held a number of senior management positions. Located primarily at IBM's world-class manufacturing facility in Bromont, Quebec, he also worked in the United States and Japan on IBM assignments.
Mr. Ganguli holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and an MBA, both from McGill University in Montreal.
