Piscataway, NJ, September 29, 2006 -- Siemens Hearing Instruments, Inc. announces the addition of two new members to the Marketing Group. These individuals will assist the Company in providing Siemens customers and the media with the marketing and communications support they have come to expect. The new Siemens employees are:
Jennifer Balas, Marketing Services Project Manager
Balas is responsible for managing the development of marketing services projects to support our customers and consumers. This includes advertising, promotions, user guides, technical information, and product literature. Prior to joining Siemens, Balas served as Special Project Manager for American Baby Group and Project Manager for Rutgers University Department of Creative Services. Balas received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Rhode Island. She is currently working on her MBA at Rutgers University and will graduate in May of 2007.
Kia Bergman, PR and Communications Specialist
Bergman is charged with public relations initiatives and product launches for the Marketing Communications Group. Bergman brings with her a background in assistive technology. Prior to joining Siemens, Bergman worked as an Information and Outreach Coordinator for the Delaware Assistive Technology Initiative under the University of Delaware. Bergman has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from West Virginia University.
