Company Announces Five New Sales Representatives
PISCATAWAY, N.J., December 2003 - Siemens Hearing Instruments, Inc. continues to strengthen its sales force through the appointment of five new sales representatives. With more than 40 years of combined industry experience, these sales representatives have joined the Siemens team to serve Hearing Care Professionals across the United States, enabling the company to continue to provide its customers with world-class service.
Rachel Blair, Field Sales Representative, Northern California and Alaska
Blair is responsible for new account generation and customer support. She brings with her 10 years of experience in the hearing aid industry. Prior to joining Siemens, Blair was an outside sales representative for another hearing instrument manufacturer. Blair put herself through school at San Jose State University by interpreting for the deaf. She is fluent in two sign languages and holds a bachelor of arts degree in audiology and speech pathology.
Chris Boyd, Field Sales Representative, California
Boyd is responsible for supporting and growing business by helping his clients attain their practice goals with a superior product and marketing plan. Prior to joining Siemens, Boyd spent six years with Baxter Healthcare selling capital equipment and consumable products to Ear, Nose, and Throat doctors as a territory manager. A graduate of the University of Arizona, Boyd earned a degree in economics.
Kent J. Rappaport, Inside Sales Representative, Iowa and Missouri
Siemens welcomes Kent to its team as an inside sales representative for the midwest region. Responsibilities include assisting customers in their daily functions and helping make their business successful. No stranger to Siemens, Rappaport worked at Siemens as a customer service representative for the past four years. Prior to his time with Siemens, he worked in the hospitality industry. A graduate of Roosevelt University in Chicago, Rappaport holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science.
John Scott, Inside Sales Representative and Supervisor, Southern Region
When not supervising the inside sales group in the Marietta facility, Scott is the inside sales representative for Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Prior to this position, Scott was employed by Siemens Hearing Instruments from 1987 to 2000 providing technical support. Additionally, in 1991, he took on the role of regional customer service supervisor. Before rejoining Siemens in 2003, Scott was Vice President, Manager of Customer Service for a manufacturing company in Georgia. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama/Birmingham and holds a bachelor's degree in English literature.
Dennis Wilkinson, Inside Sales Representative, Northern California and Alaska
Wilkinson is responsible for assisting Hearing Care Professionals in identifying the right solutions for their patients' needs. He provides ultimate support to accounts and technical assistance where needed. Wilkinson brings 12 years of sales experience from the IT industry. He also has experience providing business development strategies to large and small companies so each company could best leverage their strengths and regain a strong presence in their respective industries. He is a graduate of the California State University in Long Branch and holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics.
