Company Announces Four New Field Representatives

PISCATAWAY, NJ, April 2003 -
Siemens Hearing Instruments, Inc. announces four new field representatives have joined the Siemens team. With nearly 40 years of combined industry experience, these sales representatives were selected to connect Siemens with Hearing Care Professionals across the United States and Puerto Rico, enabling the company to continue to provide its customers with world-class service.

Siemens new field representatives are:

Michael Schmit, Field Sales Representative, Florida and Puerto Rico
Schmit is responsible for supporting Hearing Care Professionals in Florida and Puerto Rico by providing products and solutions to meet their business needs. He joins Siemens with more than 12 years of experience in dispensing hearing aids as well as business-to-business sales. Previously, Schmit worked as the regional manager in southern Florida for American Hearing Aid Associates (AHAA), and as a dispenser for The Audiology Center At the Eye Centers of Florida. Schmit earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with emphasis in finance and management from the International College, Florida, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Dennis Tembreull, Field Sales Representative, Pacific Northwest
Tembreull is responsible for assisting Hearing Care Professionals with their practice and patient needs in the Pacific Northwest region. He brings to Siemens three years of experience including knowledge of dispensing and business-to-business sales in the hearing health care industry. Previous career positions include hearing instrument technician for the Costco Hearing Center of Issaquah, Wash. and sales manager of the Pacific Northwest territory for Authorized Hearing Systems of Minneapolis. Tembreull earned a bachelor's degree in marketing management from Concordia University, in St. Paul, Minn.

Jim Young, Field Sales Representative, Michigan and Ohio
With 16 years of experience of sales management in the hearing industry, Young is responsible for supporting and maintaining close relationships with key Siemens customers. Young also provides support to Hearing Care Professionals to help grow their businesses through implementing appropriate Siemens programs, such as Siemens Business Partners (SBP) program and Click He@r web marketing. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Young earned a bachelor's degree in human development and psychology. He also earned a certificate in broadcasting for radio and television from Brown University.
