Siemens Offers SERENITI™ for Tinnitus Sufferers

Siemens new SERENITI™ tinnitus control instruments are the first fully digital, programmable therapy products designed for normal hearing as well as hearing impaired tinnitus sufferers. Following 510(k) market clearance from the Food and Drug Administration, SERENITI TCI and SERENITI TCI-C will initially be unveiled in BTE versions, with custom models to be made available at a later date.*

SERENTI TCI is a therapy noiser - 'or noise generator' - for those patients with tinnitus alone and normal hearing. Two therapy programs with manual selection allow patients to meet therapeutic requirements or simply satisfy personal preferences. They include four pre-programmed noise types, with fine-tuning possible in eight channels.

SERENITI TCI-C combines Siemens high performance digital signal processing with the functionality of a digital tinnitus control instrument. The C model features a fully digital four-channel FDRC amplifier with speech sensitive processing and multiple compression algorithms. With its adaptive noise suppression, along with precise therapy noise signal adjustment, it provides improved speech intelligibility in difficult listening environments.

Both models have volume control with programmable range and are fit with CONNEXX™ programming software.
