"PHOENIX Pro enhances Siemens' unique ability to offer the most comprehensive portfolio of hearing instruments available worldwide, and further complements our full range of basic digital products," said Pamela Burton, director of Product Management for Siemens Hearing Solutions. "This new family addresses the market need for entry-level digital hearing instruments that deliver excellent sound quality at an affordable price for patients and Hearing Care Professionals."
The affordable and easy-to-fit family of digital hearing instruments offers two-channel compression and digital simplicity with programming flexibility. Some features of PHOENIX Pro include Dual Compression, Microphone Noise Reduction, and Programmable Volume Control.
Patients can be precisely fitted using Siemens CONNEXX™ programming software allowing Hearing Care Professionals to better meet their patients' needs and listening requirements. CONNEXX uses the computer to give Hearing Care Professionals additional precision when fitting Siemens digitally programmable hearing instruments. CONNEXX operates within the Microsoft® Windows® environment. Like Windows, CONNEXX has an intuitive graphic interface that is easy to use. It uses the industry standard HI-PRO™ hardware interface to program Siemens advanced technology hearing instruments. CONNEXX is also a powerful consultation tool that demonstrates a hearing loss to a patient, and explains how the selection of the appropriate hearing instrument can impact the end result of the fitting.
