PISCATAWAY, New Jersey - Siemens Hearing Solutions hosted its 2002 Winter Symposium on the latest developments in hearing instrument technology in Los Cabos, Mexico on January 12 - 16, 2002. Held on an annual basis, the 2002 Winter Symposium offered Hearing Health Care Professionals from throughout the country the chance to learn new techniques in the hearing instrument industry and foster their ability to achieve professional success and personal growth.
The Winter Symposium's general lectures included updates on the latest hearing instrument advancements and fitting case histories, plus hands-on sessions with the newest hearing instruments, audiological software and professional products. The additional workshop sessions offered attendees hands-on experience with programmable hearing instrument software, audiometric diagnostic and testing equipment, assistive listening devices (ALDs) and other related equipment for hearing health care solutions.
Attendees received continuing education credits (CEUs) by participating in the symposium and workshops. The CEUs were received either from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), American Academy of Audiology (AAA), or National Institute for Hearing Instruments Studies.
