Piscataway, NJ-- Dr. Roger Radke, Managing Director of Siemens Audiologische, has announced the appointment of Paul Erickson as President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Hearing Instruments, Inc., and the promotion of William J. Lankenau to Chief Operating Officer.
Formerly president and CEO of Siemens Australia Pty, Ltd., Erickson has over 18 years of experience in the hearing health care industry in the United States and Europe.
Upon accepting the position effective May 1, Erickson said, 'With technology and market demographics accelerating, SHI is will poised to increase its industry leadership and I am pleased that I will now lead that effort.'
A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Business Administration, Erickson will be located in the Company's New Jersey Headquarters.
William J. Lankenau has served as Vice President of Manufacturing since joining SHI in 1990. He is a graduate of Columbia University with a Masters Degree in Engineering and of New Jersey Institute of Technology with a BS in Engineering.
