Seneca Open Ear BTE: An Easy Solution for High Frequency Loss

Share:
Plymouth, Minn -- Micro-Tech Hearing Instruments announces the release of the Seneca Open Ear BTE — a four-channel, ten-band open-ear digital solution for patients with mild-to-moderate, sloping or precipitous high-frequency hearing loss. The Seneca BTE is one of several new products Micro-Tech will release during the first two quarters of 2005.

Seneca BTE design objectives demanded that it be easy to fit, easy to use and easy to wear. Its innovative case hides discreetly behind the ear, and the thin tube from case to eartip is almost invisible. The unique radial-fin eartip leaves the ear open, eliminating occlusion, reducing low-frequency output naturally and maximizing comfort. The Seneca BTE is ready to fit right off the shelf; send patients home with high-end digital instruments on the same day as their audiometric evaluation.

The Seneca BTE offers excellent full-time directionality with Micro-Tech's DiRx system. Seneca uses an expansion algorithm to subdue the hiss and hum of microphone noise and other soft environmental sounds and a feedback management algorithm that independent research has shown to be among the most effective digital feedback controls to date.

Micro-Tech manufactures high-performance hearing instruments supported by world-class customer service. They can be contacted directly at 800.745.4327 or found on the Web at www.hearing-aid.com.
