SeboTek Hearing Systems of Tulsa, OK, was welcomed as the newest corporate partner of Audiology Online (AO) by AO President and Editor-in-Chief Dr. Douglas L. Beck.
The announcement coincides with SeboTek's formal introduction of its patented PAC (post auricular canal) instrument hearing system at this year's AAA meeting in San Antonio. PAC is a unique, non-implantable, digital hearing solution that is exceptionally discreet, with performance benefits previously limited to BTE instruments.
SeboTek co-founders Mike and Jim Feeley have backgrounds in hearing aid dispensing and manufacturing that extends nearly eighteen years. The brothers have created a work environment in their Tulsa office which allows them to closely interact with a large patient-base that can be utilized in SeboTek's product development efforts. Having personal access to motivated patients and being able to personally observe patient preferences and clinical outcomes, has been a significant asset in the development of PAC.
PAC has been successfully dispensed in the Feeley's office for nearly three years and represents a significant portion of their current business.
SeboTek and Audiology Online share a strong belief that the Internet's role in hearing healthcare will continue to grow. Strong evidence of this belief is SeboTek's newly-launched website (www.SeboTek.com) which provides dispensers with product information, technical data, software downloads and SeboTek training materials and fitting support. SeboTek expects that its website will become the principle venue for its customers to place orders for its products.
